Newsletter #16 - June 2003

Greetings to all you Dead But Dreaming fans! It's time for another update from the band!

First of all, our apologies for the last minute cancellation of the Sunday, March 16th show at the Chop Suey Concert Club in Seattle. A family medical emergency caused a necessary cancellation for DBD's participation. A string of health problems caused the band members great distress, starting with the premature birth of singer Michael White's son, Zachary Michael White. Zachary is home now and doing fine, but it was a scary few weeks for Mike and his wife Becky. This was followed by guitarist Brett Shanley suffering a knee injury, and, hot on the heels of that, drummer Eric Slyter's father had a massive stroke. Brett has recovered well from his subsequent knee surgery, and Eric's father pulled through as good as could be hoped, so the band is right back at it, bringing you two hot new shows for the summer, both presented by XIL Records and both ALL AGES!

The first is the Bonney Lake Fest on Saturday, June 7th, held at the Swiss Sportsman Club in Bonney Lake from noon to midnight. Dead But Dreaming will hit the stage at the prime time of 6pm with a 40 minute set. Tickets are $10 in advance through the DBD website, or pay $20 at the door. Not a bad price for a show that has 15 bands on the bill! The address is 9205 198th Ave E, Bonney Lake, WA 98390.

This show is ALL AGES, but for those of age, there will be a beer garden.

The second show is Saturday, June 21st at the 5th Annual Summer Celebration in Roslyn! The show is from 1pm to 2am with Dead But Dreaming going on at 8pm with a 40 minute set.
